RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology allows objects to be identified and tracked without direct contact or line of sight. Besides assisting in stock management and supply chain tracking, RFID technology can be used to enhance customer engagement.
RFID tags attached to products can work as keys to digital content and in physical spaces. When a person picks up a product, the tag triggers a nearby digital screen to display content related to the selected item or unlocks another type of digital experience.
